For direct entry to the QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation the unit AP301 Skincare to support aesthetic procedures must be selected as one of the optional units to ensure learners have the essential underpinning knowledge for the various aesthetic procedure units within the qualification.
This Regulated Diploma is suitable for anyone who wants to move into the aesthetic industry with no regulated level 3 beauty qualification and wants to move forward gaining a regulated level 5 & then 7 certificate of aesthetic practice. (3 courses should be completed in 3 and a half years)
We are covering both theory and practical learning. This qualification should be completed in a year course that is done both in the academy for 5-10 separate days throughout the course.
Theory work and case studies will be done from home.
This qualification has 6 units including -Superficial peels, Microneedling, Anatomy and Physiology, Skincare, H&S and Consultation.
How the course runs….
Once payment is made, you will be emailed some start-up documentation to read and sign. As soon as we have your start-up paperwork and certificates emailed back to us.
Some course theory work will be emailed out to you and dates arranged for Theory and practical demonstrations will be booked.
This theory work will consist of – (A portfolio will be required of your work)
SAQ’s for each unit (Approx 200-word answers are required for each question)

Practical Assessments possibly split up throughout the year
You will also need a minimum of 6 for each unit of case studies that you will do at your own place of work.
You will be required to attend the academy for theory and practical assessments. Which will consist of demonstrations followed by your Practical sessions to practice and sit assessments in the above units minimum of 4 each. Models will be provided by the academy. (On some occasions you may be required to bring some models)

Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice
This theory work will consist of – (Theory work must be referenced)
SAQ’s x 5 units (200-300 word answers are required for each question)
2 x Assignments ( 2500 words are required for each assignment)
12 x assessments using-
- 4 handheld micro-needling, 4 power-assisted, and 4 medium-grade peels
- The same amount of case studies.
Once theory work has been sent in via email and marked by the course tutor, your practical assessments will be booked.
There will be a minimum of 2 practical days that you will be required to attend here at the academy. Which will consist of a demonstration followed by your Practical assessments of chemical peel and micro-needling treatments. Models will be provided by the academy or you can bring them.

Time: 10-4 pm for practical/ Theory days at the academy.
Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice
There will be 4-8 practical / theory days spread out throughout the year that you can attend for training and assessments. You will be required to attend here at the academy. Which will consist of demonstrations followed by your Practical sessions to practice and sit assessments in aesthetic treatments. Models will be provided by the academy and can be brought by the learner also.
- 10 supervised botox and 10 summative assessments botox
- 10 supervised dermal fillers and 10 summative assessments of dermal fillers
Depending on your prior knowledge will depend on the number of days you are required to attend.
The practical Modules you will learn are –
- Botulinum foundation 3 areas upper face
- Botulinum advanced lower face 8 areas including the neck
- Dermal Filler Foundation (nose-to-mouth smile lines and marionettes)
- Dermal Filler Lip Augmentation
- Dermal Filler Advanced Cheek Augmentation
The course is made up of 4 mandatory units assessed by assignments, Questions, and practical assessments.
