Level 4 Certificate In Aesthetic Practice

This level 4 certificate in Aesthetic practice will prepare you with the knowledge and understanding to gain a safe route to go into the aesthetic industry. It will be the foundation route to progress onto level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic practice.

The superficial chemical skin peels you will learn will be at a basic level for Peels treat a variety of conditions including pigmentation, fine lines, acne, and sun damage. Micro-needling is where a number of tiny needles are rolled across the skin’s surface. This brings fresh blood flow to the surface as your skin attempts to heal itself and, in the process, improves the overall look of the skin.

How the course runs….

Once full payment is made, you will be emailed some start-up documentation to read and sign. As soon as we have your start-up paperwork and certificates emailed back to us.

The course theory work will be emailed out to you

This theory work will consist of – (Theory work must be referenced)

SAQ’s x 4 units (200-300 word answers are required for each question)

2 x Assignments ( 2500 words are required for each assignment)

10 x assessments using-

• 4 handheld micro-needling, 4 power-assisted, and 4 medium-grade peels
• 6 x Case studies.

Once theory work has been sent in via email and marked by the course tutor, your practical assessments will be booked.

There will be a minimum of 2 practical days that you will be required to attend here at the academy. Which will consist of a demonstration followed by your Practical assessments of chemical peel and micro-needling treatments. Models will be provided by the academy or you can bring them.

The awarding body is- Qualifi & Regulated with Ofqual – Qualification number (RQF) 610/1195/2  – Credits 35

Time: 10-4 pm for practical days Course Duration: 1 year from the sign-up

Course Cost: £1750 Inc VAT  (Including Registration and certification)

Pre-course requirements:  (Please note – Proof of prior qualifications is required)

• A regulated Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training – can be done once signed up
• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a related sector
